ITIL® Foundation Certification Guidance

For those who want to learn from the books, not an accredited training course.

Loose Lid Solutions' experienced ITIL® accredited trainer can provide online assistance for individuals and groups who are studying for their ITIL© Foundation Certificate on their own, via the books. This service is in no way similar to an accredited training course. It simply allows you to study in your own time, at a much lower cost than attending a three-day accredited training course would.

The ITIL© foundation certification is not dependent on attendance of an accredited training course. You may learn from the books and sit the exam through APM Group approved examination centres.

This service includes an online tutorial and allows you access to the Loose Lid Solutions online flash card learning sytem with online quiz. Access to this service is available for five weeks from purchase, giving you plenty of time to study.

You will need to have access to the ITIL® core books prior to the course. A good place to shop is www.bookdepository.co.uk (free worldwide delivery), but most technical bookstores have them in stock, and they are available from itSMF Australia http://www.itsmf.org.au/bookstore. Your local library may also stock the books. The ITIL® Foundation Handbook for the relevant syllabus is a great way to revise for the exam, and this online tutorial will refer to the latest Handbook as well as the five core publications.
